House to Home Plans is a team. We are a team where each member and designer has over 20 years of experience in this field. It has become obvious that architectural home design has fallen into a time where the client’s needs are secondary to the ego of the designer and their whims. Great Architectural elevations and designs have become secondary to just simply putting gaudy facades or an economic driven elevation on most homes that are designed today. Good architectural planning can remedy both issues that are prevalent in the home plans of today. H2H uses what we call The Golden Mean of Architecture when setting out to design a home. We first pay close attention to the clients desires and dreams, we study how the home will be oriented so to maximize use of natural light. We use certain architectural methodology like compression to create a drive through the home to an arrival points and we never loose site of what the client is trying to achieve. Those things simply do not occur in most house designs today. Seeing those needs were not being fulfilled and the fact that very little customer service was being offered is why House to Home Plans started. These areas were not being addressed or fulfilled in the market. Those needs are the focus of our philosophy and model. By operating in this manner, House to Home Plans shares a bond that is unique with our clients. It is a bond with a family that is embarking on a large transition in which we develop ideas that become sketches, that later become the clients dream home. A deep sense of pride develops in the home design process along with a connectedness that emerges with the home that will never seem to go away.
